EFundFlow Acceptable Use Policy

Updated: July 21, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to your access to and use of the EFundFlow website, dashboard, APIs, hosted services, documentation, and payment orchestration services (collectively, the "Services"). This Policy is incorporated into and supplements our Terms of Use and any agreement between you and EFundFlow.

EFundFlow connects merchants to payment processors, acquirers, banks, payment methods, risk tools, and related financial technology partners. Because those partners impose legal, network, compliance, and risk requirements, you must use the Services only for disclosed, lawful, and approved business activity.

1. Your compliance obligations

You are responsible for ensuring that your business, websites, transactions, products, services, customers, and use of the Services comply with:

  • All laws and regulations that apply to your business, customers, products, services, and transaction flows.
  • Sanctions, export control, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, consumer protection, privacy, and data security requirements.
  • Card network rules, alternative payment method rules, processor requirements, acquiring bank requirements, and policies required by EFundFlow partners.
  • Your own customer disclosures, refund policies, fulfillment commitments, billing terms, subscription terms, and privacy notices.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current onboarding, KYC, KYB, ownership, director, representative, website, descriptor, settlement, and transaction information. You must promptly notify EFundFlow before changing your business model, product category, legal entity, ownership, operating country, website, merchant descriptor, payment method mix, or processing for a new merchant, marketplace, or sub-merchant.

2. Prohibited businesses and activities

You may not use the Services for any business, transaction, product, service, or activity that involves or supports:

  • Illegal goods or services, criminal activity, fraud, scams, deceptive practices, identity theft, synthetic identity use, document falsification, or evasion of regulatory oversight.
  • Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, transactions involving sanctioned persons or regions, bribery, corruption, or other financial crime.
  • Counterfeit goods, stolen goods, unauthorized resale, pirated content, intellectual property infringement, or products designed to circumvent intellectual property controls.
  • Non-consensual content, sexual exploitation, abuse of minors, human trafficking, hate, harassment, violence, or activities that facilitate physical harm.
  • Weapons, explosives, ammunition, firearm parts, regulated defense articles, or instructions intended to facilitate illegal weapon use.
  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, synthetic drugs, drug paraphernalia, or products marketed to produce effects similar to illegal drugs.
  • Malware, spyware, phishing, credential theft, botnets, denial-of-service services, hacking tools, unauthorized access services, or cybercrime enablement.
  • Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick schemes, deceptive investment programs, credit repair scams, debt relief scams, or other misleading financial opportunities.
  • Card testing, account testing, credential stuffing, abusive refund practices, chargeback abuse, unauthorized recurring billing, or transaction splitting intended to avoid controls.
  • Any activity that violates payment network rules, processor rules, bank policies, or partner requirements applicable to EFundFlow or the Services.

3. Restricted businesses requiring prior approval

Some businesses may be lawful but still require enhanced review, partner approval, licenses, reserves, transaction limits, additional monitoring, or other controls. You may not use the Services for the following categories unless EFundFlow gives prior written approval:

  • Financial services, money services businesses, money transmission, stored value, wallets, prepaid access, remittance, foreign exchange, payment facilitation, or payment aggregation.
  • Cryptocurrency, virtual assets, digital assets, NFTs, token issuance, token exchanges, custody, mining, staking, trading platforms, or related services.
  • Lending, credit, buy now pay later, factoring, debt collection, insurance, investment products, securities, commodities, or other regulated financial products.
  • Gambling, gaming, betting, lotteries, fantasy sports, sweepstakes, contests of chance, or skill-based prize competitions.
  • Adult content, dating services, live streaming, social platforms with user-generated content, or content moderation-sensitive platforms.
  • Alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, cannabis, CBD, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, telemedicine, healthcare services, or nutraceuticals.
  • Charities, crowdfunding, political fundraising, religious fundraising, donations, nonprofit fundraising, or cause-based campaigns.
  • Marketplaces, platforms, resellers, franchises, agencies, third-party sellers, sub-merchants, or any model where you process payments for another party.
  • Travel, airlines, lodging, ticketing, events, timeshares, memberships, subscriptions, free trials, negative-option billing, or other delayed fulfillment models.
  • Digital goods, gift cards, vouchers, game credits, online services with high dispute risk, dropshipping, import/export trading, or fulfillment models with extended delivery timelines.

Approval for one product, website, country, payment method, processor, or merchant account does not mean approval for another. EFundFlow may require additional due diligence at any time.

4. Prohibited use of the Services

You may not, and may not allow any third party to:

  • Process transactions for undisclosed third parties, undisclosed websites, undisclosed product lines, undisclosed countries, or unapproved sub-merchants.
  • Engage in transaction laundering, miscoding, false descriptors, false merchant category information, or any practice that conceals the true seller, buyer, product, website, location, or purpose of a transaction.
  • Split transactions, rotate merchant accounts, manipulate transaction amounts, or otherwise structure activity to avoid limits, monitoring, risk controls, network rules, or partner requirements.
  • Resubmit declined transactions in a way that violates network rules, processor rules, or customer authorization requirements.
  • Bypass, disable, disrupt, or interfere with authentication, access controls, rate limits, fraud monitoring, sanctions screening, dispute controls, webhook integrity, or security controls.
  • Submit false, misleading, incomplete, outdated, or forged information during onboarding, KYC, KYB, due diligence, transaction review, dispute review, or partner review.
  • Store, transmit, or submit cardholder data, authentication data, health data, government identifiers, or other sensitive regulated information except through approved and documented EFundFlow methods.
  • Probe, scan, scrape, copy, reverse engineer, overload, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Services, APIs, dashboards, infrastructure, code, documentation, or partner systems.
  • Use the Services to send spam, malicious traffic, abusive requests, misleading notices, or content that damages customers, EFundFlow, payment partners, or other users.

5. Marketplaces, platforms, and sub-merchants

If you operate a marketplace, platform, reseller model, agency model, payment facilitator model, or any other arrangement involving third-party sellers or sub-merchants, you must disclose that model to EFundFlow before processing. You are responsible for appropriate onboarding, screening, monitoring, support, refunds, disputes, delivery performance, and compliance controls for those third parties. EFundFlow may require direct review of sub-merchant information, transaction data, websites, customer disclosures, and risk controls.

6. Data security and credential safety

You are responsible for securing your accounts, passwords, MFA factors, API keys, webhook secrets, devices, systems, integrations, and personnel access. You must promptly notify EFundFlow of any suspected unauthorized access, credential compromise, data breach, security incident, webhook tampering, account takeover, or misuse of the Services.

7. Monitoring and enforcement

EFundFlow may monitor use of the Services and may review your business, websites, transactions, disputes, refunds, fulfillment, customer complaints, chargebacks, and risk signals. If we reasonably believe this Policy, applicable law, network rules, processor requirements, partner obligations, or your agreement with EFundFlow may be violated, we may take one or more actions, including:

  • Requesting additional information, enhanced due diligence, remediation, licensing evidence, customer disclosures, or updated business documentation.
  • Rejecting, delaying, limiting, holding, reversing, or refunding transactions.
  • Applying reserves, settlement holds, payment method limits, processor limits, rolling reserves, or additional monitoring.
  • Suspending, restricting, or terminating access to all or part of the Services.
  • Notifying processors, acquirers, payment methods, banks, card networks, regulators, law enforcement, or affected customers where required or appropriate.

EFundFlow is not required to support, approve, process, or continue processing any activity that creates unacceptable legal, compliance, security, network, partner, customer, or reputation risk.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Services after an update means that you agree to the updated Policy.
